Currently living in Portland, Oregon with her "Elf" of over 30 years, 3 children, and her 145 lb. two year old Great Dane, Christy experiments in all art mediums. <br /><br />A painter for 26 years and sculptor for 10, Christy pursued her dreams of creating Art full time by leaving her "real job" nine years ago and has experienced her dreams coming true ever since! <br /><br />Christy and her husband "Elf" have created and produced hundreds of one of a kind "Whimsies" sold worldwide to collectors and also has had the thrill of seeing her work published in major Art publications. Eventually Christy's Whimsies were discovered by the Ashton Drake Galleries in 2004 and she was immediately licensed to create a 12 ornament series of The Wizard of Oz.
